You are where you are because you made a choice. God allows us to make our own decisions. Perhaps you procrastinated, or perhaps you rebelled. However, God, the Creator of the Universe still wants everyone to repent and spend eternity with Him (Second Peter 3:9).

The CHOICE is YOURS.

WHO IS GOD ?
WHO IS GOD ?

God is the ever-present, all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful Creator of the world in which we live. He is the only god. There is none other besides Him (Mark 12:32). God is the owner of everything. He allows us to use what is His. He observes whether we are good stewards of what we have been allowed to use. God is the owner of the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalms 50:10).

God is not referred to in the past tense or the future tense. He simply is. He is timeless. God operates outside of time. Not for millions of years, but outside of time. Everything is now. That is how the Lord knows the future, because to Him it is not future, but now. God is the great I Am (Exodus 3:14).

God is love. He is a loving God. For God so loved us that He sent His son, Jesus, to die as a sacrifice for us (John 3:16). A picture of God's love is the Story of the Prodigal Son as told by Jesus (Luke 15:11-24). The son demanded his share of his father's wealth and left his father to waste the money on partying. When he was broke and starving, he came to his senses and returned to his father to work for him as a servant. But his father saw him coming a long distance away and came out to meet his wayward son. The father gave his son gifts and was overjoyed at his return. Likewise, our Heavenly Father is overjoyed when we turn from our sin and return to Him.

Another emotion of God was shown at the crucifixion of Jesus. While Jesus was on the cross, there was darkness over the land from the sixth hour of the day until the ninth hour or from Noon until 3:00 pm (Luke 23:44). This darkness was not a solar eclipse. The dark time during a solar eclipse only lasts a few minutes even in the most ideal locations. This darkness was supernatural. God the Father could not watch what mankind, His creation, was doing to Jesus, His son.

For the last 2000 years we have been living during the time of the grace of God. Our God is also a God of wrath. The earth has not seen the wrath of God for many thousands of years. That is about to end. Mankind has corrupted the earth and society. Mankind has killed and persecuted believers (Christians and Jews). The coming period of time will be a time of God's righteous wrath (The Revelation chapter 16).

But there is still hope. There will be persons who will be in Heaven after having come out of the great tribulation (The Revelation 7:14 and 14:13). Keep the faith. Do not rebel against God.

WHO IS JESUS ?
WHO IS JESUS ?

Jesus is the Son of God. He was present at the Creation. God said, "Let us make man in our image" (Genesis 1:26). Jesus was in the fiery furnace with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (Daniel 3:25). There are many prophecies about Jesus in the Old Testament. One of the most notable is the 53rd chapter of Isaiah. Psalm 22 is a picture of the crucifixion written 1000 years before Jesus was born and several hundred years before crucifixion was invented as a form of capital punishment. The Bible is true and correct.

In the beginning, in the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve sinned against God, the Lord provided Adam and Eve with animal skins to cover themselves. In order to have an animal skin, an animal must die and blood must be shed. From the very beginning the principle of blood being shed for sin has existed.

Later, animal sacrifices were made in the Tabernacle (a tent-like structure) and the more permanent Holy Temple in Jerusalem. Again, blood was shed because of the sin of the people.

Two thousand years ago Jesus, the Son of God, God in human form, was killed even though He was sinless. He was without sin. Jesus was sacrificed and died on a cross on a hill called Calvary. That hill is part of the same mountain upon which the Temple stood and sacrifices were made for hundreds of years before Jesus.

Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. The Son of God.

But the best part is that Jesus was resurrected and now stands at the right hand of God the Father (Acts 7:55). His resurrection gives us the same hope (Romans 6:4). If you belong to Jesus; if you have been "buried" with Him in baptism, you will be resurrected upon your death in this world. What a Blessed Hope! (See Titus 2:13)

Go to "How do I Receive Salvation?" to find out how you may be resurrected and be with Jesus in His Kingdom. In Hebrew the name of Jesus is "Jeshua". Jeshua means "salvation". Jesus is our salvation. Praise His Name!

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT ?
WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT ?

Like Jesus, the Son of God, the Holy Spirit was with God from the very Beginning. The Holy Spirit is part of the God-Head. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is not as "visible" as God the Creator, or as Jesus when He came to earth to become our Salvation. In Hebrew the name of Jesus means "salvation". The Holy Spirit was promised by Jesus to His followers in John 14:15-18. The work of the Holy Spirit is described in John 16:5-15. One translation of the Bible calls the Holy Spirit the "Comforter". We are told that the Holy Spirit speaks to the Lord on our behalf when we are so troubled that we cannot express ourselves (Romans 8:26).

The Holy Spirit is described as the Lord's "earnest money" or "guarantee" toward the "inheritance" of Christians (Ephesians 1:14). The Church (Believers, not a building) has been blessed with the presence of the Holy Spirit since the Day of Pentecost when the Church was begun (Acts 2:1-41). There is a strong possibility that the Holy Spirit will no longer dwell on earth because the Church was called Home to be with the Lord (First Thessalonians 4:13-18). If this is the case, after this time life on earth will be even more difficult for those who become Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. May God be merciful to you.

WHO IS SATAN ?
WHO IS SATAN ?

Satan is not a god. He is a being created by God. Satan was the brightest created being in the spiritual realm. He rebelled against God and was cast out of Heaven along with the angels who followed him. About one-third of the angels fell to the earth with Satan (The Revelation 12:3-4). Beware of accepting or trusting all "angels" or spirit beings because there are angels who now serve Satan. These are the demons that we know today. We humans are not able to easily discern whether a spiritual being is good or evil. The easy way to determine the source of any spirit is whether it honors God or Satan. If the spirit or "angel" does not honor God, it is of Satan. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12).

In the spiritual realm there is no gray area. It is either white or black – good or evil. Either you honor the Lord or you honor Satan. God allows us to make the choice. You must decide to honor God and turn your back on Satan and sin.

In the last days mankind will recognize that God is in control. They will call for the mountains to fall on them to hide them from the wrath of God. But they do not repent! (The Revelation 6:16). Do not be included with these people. Do not rebel against the Lord.

Do not be fooled by Satan. He masquerades as an angel of light (Second Corinthians 11:14). He is a deceiver (Genesis 3:13). Satan is a murdering liar (John 8:44). He prowls around looking for a soul to deceive and devour (First Peter 5:8). Go to "how do I Receive Salvation" to learn how to belong to the Lord and to spend eternity with Jesus.

HOW DO I RECEIVE SALVATION ?
HOW DO I RECEIVE SALVATION ?

The Lord is gracious. He does not want anyone to perish, but wants everyone to come to repentance (II Peter 3:9). The plan of salvation is simple.

1) You must hear (or read) the truth of God's love; Jesus was sacrificed for our sins (yours and mine); Jesus died on the cross, but He was resurrected to be with God so that we may have that same hope (Romans 6:6). Read one or all of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). Mark is the shortest.

2) You must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for you and me, that He did arise from the dead and that He can be your Salvation.

3) You must repent, or turn away, from your sin and set your will/mind to go in the opposite direction. Yes, you have sinned. We have all sinned (Romans 3:22-24). Christians are sinners, but our sins have been forgiven. And it doesn't cost a penny.

4) You must confess before men your belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God as Peter did in Matthew 16:16.

5) You must be immersed according to the Bible. The word "immersed" is "baptizo" in the Greek language. It has been transliterated "baptize" in most Bibles. But the word means immerse. (Read Acts 2:37-39 and 8:12-13). Any Christian can baptize you. It does not have to be a preacher or priest.

That is all there is to receiving the free Gift of God. You must make the decision. God will not force you to decide for Him. To not accept Him is to make a decision for Satan to be lord over you for eternity.

After you become a Christian, study your Bible and meet with other Christians. There is strength in numbers. Do not be deceived by what is going on around you. God is real.

The Bible is true and correct.

WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN ?
WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN ?

When the Church is removed, so innocent children will also be removed. This is described in First Thessalonians 4:13-18. After the Church is gone, the presence of the Holy Spirit may be diminished or non-existent. There will be no "restrainer" (Second Thessalonians 2:7). It appears that things will get bad. The beginning of chapter four of The Revelation is a picture of the Church being called to Heaven. After this there are cataclysmic events and a display of the wrath of God. The Revelation says that one-fourth of the population will be killed and later one-third will be killed. The result is one-half of earth's population will die during this time.

Israel is at the heart of all events that will take place. The Jews are God's "chosen people" and Israel, to the Lord, is very important real estate. The city of Jerusalem is the "apple of God's eye" (Zechariah 2:8-9). Watch Israel.

A world leader will arise (and may be on the world stage today) who will have great political and spiritual powers (Daniel 8:23-25). His power will be from Satan (The Revelation 13:2). He will initiate a treaty with Israel. The many threats, bombs and rockets from the Palestinians may be the beginning of the process to cause the formation of a treaty.

As part of this treaty it appears that Israel will be allowed to build the Temple or possibly the Tabernacle (a tent-like structure) in Jerusalem. It is thought that the Tabernacle is hidden and that the location is known today. Never the less, it is apparent that a holy structure will be built in Jerusalem, because three and one-half years after the treaty is initiated, the unnamed world leader will go into the holiest of areas of the structure and declare himself to be god.

This world leader will cause all people to be required to have an identification card for all transactions. Your salary, house payment or grocery purchases will all be through this card. There may be an invisible infrared-sensitive mark instead of a card. The Revelation speaks of a mark on your hand or your forehead. In order to receive this mark, and participate in the world leader's economy, it appears that you will be required to worship the leader. This is outlined in The Revelation 13:15-17.

This could be an important point in your life. Because of the finality of these times, if you worship this leader as god, you are rejecting God the Creator. It would be better to lose your life than to lose your soul. Do not worship the leader. Do not reject God. The Bible is true and correct.

Go to "How Do I Receive Salvation" to learn how to belong to the Lord and spend eternity with Jesus.

It appears that the players in the world drama will be Russia, the Arab nations, the European nations (including the United States) and China or a Japan-China coalition. The Bible speaks of a 200 million man army coming from the rising sun (The Revelation 9:16 and 16:12). Those with a knowledge of history know that Japan is the Land of the Rising Sun and China has long claimed that they could raise a 200 million man army.

A day will come when all the nations of the world will be gathered around Jerusalem. This will be possibly be several years after the removal of the Church. The Lord says that He will make Jerusalem an immovable rock and that if anyone tries to move it they will hurt themselves (Zechariah 12:3). When all the nations try to destroy Jerusalem the Lord Jesus Himself will step in and stop the war and destruction.

When He returns He will usher in one-thousand years of peace and justice. Satan will be locked up for a thousand years. There will be no more war. All the Jews who have been scattered all over the earth will be returned to Israel. Jesus will rule as King of Kings and Prince of Peace.

The Bible is true and correct.
