What Happened?

Dear Friend,

If you are reading this and there has been a unique, unprecedented event where all the innocent little children and many adults have disappeared, please continue reading. This event was not the result of a cataclysm, such as an earthquake, nor were the missing people taken by "flying saucers" to another planet to be rehabilitated. The Church of the Lord Jesus has been called Home to Heaven. This is known as the “Rapture.” Please click HERE for more information.

Now you understand the importance of this message. For centuries Christians have believed in Jesus by faith. Now you believe in the Lord Jesus because of what you have seen. Now you realize that imperfect Christians, even though we were sinful, have been forgiven by our gracious Heavenly Father. You, too, can have that forgiveness.

The Lord God is gracious and desires that all should be with Him in His Kingdom. It is not too late for salvation! “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” (Revelation 7:14)

Here is what you must do to be saved:

  1. You must hear (or read) the truth of God's love; Jesus was sacrificed for our sins (yours and mine); Jesus died on the cross, but He was resurrected to be with God so that we may have that same hope (Romans 6:4-5). Read one or all of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). Mark is the shortest.

  2. You must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for you and me, that He did arise from the dead and that He can be your Salvation(Romans 10:9).

  3. You must repent, or turn away, from your sin and set your will/mind to go in the opposite direction. Yes, you have sinned. We have all sinned (Romans 3:22-24). Christians are sinners, but our sins have been forgiven. And it doesn't cost a penny.

  4. You must confess before men your belief that Jesus is the Christ (Matthew 10:32), the Son of the Living God as Peter did in Matthew 16:16.

  5. To be obedient, you should be immersed according to the Bible. The word "immersed" is "baptizo" in the Greek language. It has been transliterated "baptize" in most Bibles. But the word means immerse. (Acts 2:37-39 and Acts8:12). Any Christian can immerse you. It does not have to be a preacher or priest.

That is all there is to receiving the free Gift of God. You must make the decision. The Lord is a God of free choice or free will. He will not force you to decide for Him. To not accept Him is to make a decision for Satan to be lord over you for eternity.

The Bible is true and correct. Long ago Christians (followers of Christ) were told by Jesus that He would return for them at the appropriate time. Students of the Bible have long believed that this current time in history would see the Rapture, or snatching away, of the followers of Jesus.

The Bible is true and correct. It tells of a time of "tribulation." You may have heard that word "tribulation" in a Biblical context. The Book of the Revelation (the last book in the Bible) describes natural disasters, cataclysmic events, wars, destruction and . . . . deception unlike any other such events in history.

The Bible is true and correct. There will come a person who will have great powers and will promise great things. His power will be from Satan. He will be a false Christ or false Messiah. The Bible describes him as the Anti-Christ or the Beast.

This person will have great political power. He will probably enable Israel to rebuild or re-establish the Temple or the Tabernacle in Jerusalem. At some point during this terrible time of tribulation this unnamed world leader will go into the Temple or Tabernacle and declare himself to be god.

Sad to say, but the world you live in will change horribly for the worse. The presence of the Church and the Holy Spirit have deterred the evil that has long sought to control this world. With the Church out of the way, evil will prevail. Then, when this false "messiah" or Anti-Christ declares that he is god, things will really get bad. There will come a time when you will be required to declare this evil person to be god or messiah.

Do not renounce your faith and belief in God. If you do so, the Bible says that you will be eternally lost.

“If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.” – Revelation 14:9-10
At some point you may be required to stand for your belief in God. It may cost you your life, but you will have a special place in Heaven.

“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” – Luke 9:24
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” – Revelation 20:4
There is a Hell. The Bible is true and correct.

Find a church building (the Church is no longer here). There are currently plenty of Bibles and study materials. Do not assume this will always be. The King James Version is translated from a good Greek and Hebrew text, but the KJV2000 is easier to read. Please click HERE for a free online version of the KJV2000 Bible.

The New International Version, and other “modern” translations are easy to read, but the underlying Greek text tends to omit lots of Scripture. Look for a Christian bookstore and find a King James Version Study Bible with helpful commentary.

Study God's Word. Be faithful. You had the chance to be with the Lord right now, and for some reason rejected it. There is still hope. Do not reject the Lord. Do not rebel. What will have happened is the "two-minute warning" as in football. The end is near. Jesus will physically return soon (the Second Coming) to bring an end to all war and destruction and to usher in one-thousand years of peace.

Read these scriptures:
Acts 1:1-13 and Acts 2:1-39 – note especially Acts 2:21, 2:38
Romans chapters 5 and 6 – note especially Romans 5:8, 5:11, 5:15, 6:4

Here are some Christian authors to read:
Chuck Missler
Hal Lindsey
Charles Stanley
James Dobson
John Hagee

Do not despair. The Lord has been patient and will now show His righteous wrath against those who hate him. Be warned; Satan knows that his time is short and there will be a great increase in demonic activity. The demons in films and video games were just a hint of the horrible reality to come. But Jesus will return soon (this will be the Second Coming) to bring peace to the world. At that time, every knee will bow to Jesus, whether you have believed in Him or not.

Those of us who are now with the Lord in His Heavenly Kingdom anticipate the Day of His return. “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all.” (Jude 1:14) Please repent. We look forward to you being in Heaven with us.

If you read this out of curiosity and the “Rapture” has not occurred, please observe and perform the steps of Salvation listed above. It is far better to repent and be saved now than later. The cost is little and the benefits are supernatural!

May the Lord bless you.
